Swimming Pool Compliance Certificate

A Certificate of Compliance confirms that your swimming pool or spa meets all required safety standards under NSW law.
  • This certificate must be attached to the contract of sale when selling a property, or
  • Provided to tenants when leasing a property.
If your pool does not meet the required standards, you will be issued a Certificate of Non-Compliance.
This allows the seller to transfer responsibility for fixing the issues to the buyer. The buyer then has 90 days from settlement to bring the pool into compliance and obtain a Certificate of Compliance.
