- A structure that has been erected without approval.
- A building being used for a purpose other than the current property consent stipulates.
- A pool may be built without consent, appears unsafe or has unsafe fencing.
- A structure appears dangerous or dilapidated.
- There is an alleged breach of the development consent.

Time frames
The priority for investigating allegations of illegal building works or unsafe structures depends on the nature and significance of the issue, therefore investigation time frames vary. Safety concerns will be addressed promptly to ensure the well-being of our community.
