Resealing your road
Road resealing happens when the road is still in good condition but the surface layer is damaged.

When lodging your request, you will have the option to attach photos or other supporting documents.
Location matters!
Providing specific details about the location of the pothole or road maintenance issue helps us locate and address it quickly. Please include cross streets, house numbers, or identifying landmarks.
Next steps
- You'll receive an acknowledgement with your request number.
- The pothole or maintenance work will first be assessed and if classified as severe, it may be treated as a road failure and prioritised for repair.
- Once your request has been completed, you will receive a notification. Please note that the completion of your request may mean the work has been actioned, scheduled, or added to our future planning.
Time frames
- If it's an emergency, it will be responded to in the earliest possible time as resources allow.
- Maintenance that is prioritised for repair is typically actioned within 6 weeks.
- For less severe potholes, there is no specific repair timeframe.
