Our playgrounds and exercise equipment are designed to be safe and fun, but sometimes equipment can get damaged due to:
- vandalism
- adverse weather
- general wear and tear.

Raise a request
Before you begin
When lodging your request, where possible please attach photos or other supporting documents.
Location matters!
- Include the name of the park in your request.
- Parks and open spaces can be large areas. Providing specific details about the location of the park or exercise equipment (as there can be multiple in larger parks), helps us locate and address it quickly. Please include the area of the park or identifying landmarks.
Next steps
- You'll receive an acknowledgement with your request number.
- The request will be triaged, we will investigate the damage and see if the equipment requires repair or replacement. If there are any safety concerns, we may erect fencing or barriers to secure the area while repairs are underway.
- Once your request has been completed, you will receive a notification. Please note that the completion of your request may mean the work has been actioned or scheduled.
Time frames
Our maintenance response times can vary. We prioritise urgent repairs that pose risks to public safety. In some cases, special equipment or replacement parts may need to be ordered to complete the repairs.
