New kerbside bin service

If you've moved into a property without a kerbside bin service, such as a newly built home, you'll need to apply for a new set of bins.
The waste management services charge included in your property rates covers the standard bin service, which may vary depending on your property. Any additional services are available upon request and are provided on a fee-for-service basis.

Fees

There is no cost associated with your new bin entitlements (property type dependent); these are included in the waste charges associated with your property rates.

Raise a request

Before you begin

When requesting new bins for a residential property, you have the option to choose the 360L recycling bin (instead of the standard 240L) without additional cost. If the 360L recycling bin is requested later, a delivery fee will apply.

Next steps

  1. You'll receive an acknowledgement with your request number.
  2. We will confirm the new land title has been registered and rating charges applied, then deliver your new bins.
  3. You will receive a notification when your request is complete.

Time frames

The delivery of new bins typically takes up to 15 days.
