Classification of Public Land Certificate
Public land in NSW is classified under the Local Government Act 1993 as either:
- Community Land - land intended for public use (e.g. parks, reserves)
- Operational Land - land used for council functions (e.g. depots, offices)

- This certificate only applies to public land.
- If the land is privately owned, you do not need to apply.

Next steps
