Bulk Waste Container Registered Supplier

In order to issue permits for placing Bulk Waste Containers on public land within the City of Newcastle local government area, you must first apply to become a registered supplier. This approval ensures compliance with regulations and streamlines the permit process.

Application fees

There are no fees payable when you submit your application. We'll invoice you after your application and preferences have been reviewed.

Complete the application form

Email it to us

  • Enter the address of the property and the type of application (i.e. Bulk Waste Container Supplier Application) in the subject line of the email.
  • Documents forming part of the application that exceed 10MB, are to be stored in a 'drop box' account and a 'public link' created to the documents. Copy the link and share that link in your email.
  • Emails are to be sent to traffic@ncc.nsw.gov.au

Next steps

  1. Shortly after submitting your application, you will receive an email confirming we've received it, along with an invoice for the application fees.
  2. We will review your application and supporting documentation.
  3. If approve, you will receive a confirmation of your status as a registered supplier.
  4. You can submit Bulk Waste Container Permit applications with us and once approved, place bulk waste containers on public land.
