Missed Bin

Notify us if your bin wasn't emptied on collection day.
Last updated on: 08 April 2026
If your bin hasn't been collected by 4pm on your regular collection day, report a missed service.

Why bins may be missed

Bins may be missed for a variety of reasons, such as:
  • The bin may be blocked by a parked vehicle.
  • The bin was not placed on the kerb by 5am (our collections start from 5:15am).
  • Inclement weather conditions or truck breakdowns, which might delay our service.
  • Limited access to the street due to road works or temporary closures - our drivers may return later in the day if they couldn't enter your street at the usual time.

Raise a request

Before you begin

  • Please wait until after 4pm on your collection day before reporting a missed service, unless it appears that all other bins on your street have been collected and yours was not.
  • General waste and green waste bin - Complete this form within two business days of your collection day. If you report a missed service after two business days, your bin won't be serviced until your next regular collection day.
  • Recycling bin - Complete this form within 24 hours of your missed collection. If you report a missed service after this time, your bin won't be serviced until your next regular collection day.

Next steps

  1. You'll receive an acknowledgement with your request and tracking numbers, allowing you to monitor its progress in our Customer Portal.
  2. Please leave the bin on the kerb until its collected, including weekends.
  3. You will receive a notification once we complete your request.

Time frames

Typically, your missed collection will be serviced within three business days from when you reported the missed service.
